Lay Out Your Cover

Unfold the garage door cover completely and identify the top, bottom, left, and right sides before installation.

Align With the Door

Center the cover over your garage door and make sure the design is facing outward and positioned evenly.

Secure the Top

Attach the top section first using the included hooks, straps, or fasteners. Keep the cover centered as you work.

Secure the Sides and Bottom

Fasten the sides and bottom of the cover according to the included installation method. Make sure every attachment point is secure.

Adjust and Smooth

Gently adjust the cover until it is straight, evenly tensioned, and free from large wrinkles.

Check Before Use

Confirm that the cover is firmly attached and does not interfere with the door tracks, handles, sensors, or moving parts.

🏠 Install With the Door Closed

Always install the cover while the garage door is completely closed and stationary.

🌤 Choose Calm Weather

Install the cover during dry, calm weather to make positioning and securing it easier.

👨‍👩‍👧 Two People Are Recommended

Double-door and multi-door covers are easier to align and install with the help of another person.

📏 Check the Size First

Confirm that the selected cover size matches the actual width and height of your garage door.

🔒 Secure Every Attachment Point

Do not leave hooks, straps, or fasteners loose, especially in windy conditions.

⚠️ Keep Moving Parts Clear

Keep the cover and all fasteners away from tracks, hinges, rollers, sensors, and other moving components.

Can I install the cover by myself?

Most single-door covers can be installed by one person. For larger double-door or multi-door covers, we recommend having a second person assist.

Will the cover damage my garage door?

The included installation accessories are designed for temporary seasonal use. Proper installation, regular checks, and removal during extreme weather help reduce the risk of damage.

Can the garage door still open and close?

This depends on the specific cover, installation method, and garage door design. Only operate the door when the product instructions confirm that normal operation is supported and the cover does not obstruct any moving parts.

What should I do in strong wind or severe weather?

Remove the cover before strong winds, storms, heavy snow, or other severe weather conditions. Seasonal decorations should not be left installed when conditions may cause them to become loose or damaged.

Can I reuse the garage door cover?

Yes. After the holiday season, make sure the cover is clean and completely dry. Fold it neatly and store it in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight.

What if my cover does not fit correctly?

Stop installation and confirm the size selected on your order. Do not force or permanently alter the product. Contact our support team with your order number, garage door measurements, and clear photos.
